Once there was and once there was not

A lady who rarely speaks a lot

Had her thoughts and had her dreams

Had her fight against all streams

Filled with terrors and filled with fear

A world of sadness whose sky won’t clear

A mistake of a long time ago

That appears to hunt me everywhere I go

I was stupid and maybe wise

Had to wait till the fake hope can rise

To see what could have been yours

But your dreams are off to the shores

To want to swim but you have wings,

To want to fly when entangled within your own strings

Once there was and once there was not

Imagination of more than a shot

Left but wonderings in a parallel world

Left the sun burning with a heart so cold
